Siddha Vidya
In the multitudinous activities of our struggle for existence in competing with neighbours to outshine them in all possible ways, in the keen desire to command the greatest among of wealth and prestige, we in our every day life consume our “life-force” considerably and are expanded. In this manner, we meet with final catastrophe, the death. If on the contrary; we preserve this ‘life-force’ i.e. Jeeva within ourselves without allowing it to get downwardly and destroyed, conduct it up and down in ourselves and finally unite it at bhurumadyam, the place between two eyebrows, which is the seat of Ishwara the divinity, Self-realisation becomes possible and then we become free from all the horrors of death pangs. This exercise by Jeeva to attain salvation is vidya, The novel and noble path that is a solution for the suffering or method by means of which the death pangs can be avoided is known as a siddha vidya duly discovered and preached by His Holiness Swami Sivananda Paramahamsa.
